When the energy is just right!

It's a rocking day today: the music is rolling out of the shooting bay punctuated with percussive stomps and synergising snaps of the flash. They're capturing an action shot and the joy is infectious! We've got laughter filling the room like a fresh glass of bubbles and it must taste surprisingly sweet judging from the, at first perplexed, broadening smiles of new people coming up our stairs into our joyful space.

Funny how trying a little something new makes everyone's day.

Next up today one of the lovely women having her Sitting chose to take us up on the offer and bring along her own music. It's like immersing ourselves in her quintessential nature. We've got the Jaye Niemi scent rolling in waves about under the high ceiling, sounds of joy and humour, and we're all buzzing as a vision of fresh, high energy loveliness emerges from her shoot.

What follows is the mellow phase, when she'll exude the calm that comes so naturally after all that energy and we'll capture a serene goddess - quite the antithesis of the former rock and roll. Soft curls and dreamy eyes, curves and glowing skin, melting and mellow: creates new magic of quite a different hue.

We're none of us the dull, grey creatures we play in the bland every-day. Why not let a little of that character roll out? Let's see every facet of the heirloom diamonds you really are - paint NZ a little more rainbow.

Too good to be true?

Just in the past few months we've been even more focused on doing our bit to make the world a nicer place. We're taking our personal concern for others and making sure we apply that to everyone we deal with, not just friends and family.

So, we're again remembering not to take a back seat in our lives! We're taking the wheel and doing what we know to be right. We're giving people the benefit of the doubt. We're taking up some of our chances to give away our time and our energies so that people can experience what we're all about. Yes, it's a risk. We feel that making people happy is one of the most fulfilling things we can do! So, we're not going to reserve this for our personal lives - we're bringing it into our professional lives! And we're loving all the lovely people we're meeting! :)

So, if you're wondering if something we've done for you or are offering to do for you is too good to be true: we're offering it with open hearts, there's no secret motive. Come in and see us and we'll be totally up front. Of course we need to make a living but fairness and looking after people come first and there's no reason they need to be mutually exclusive. We're trusting the world to be the wonderful place we know it can be if we all care a bit more every day.

New blog plans in progress

With a brand-new website there are a lot of elements to make it great and one of them, we think, will be a great blog. So this one was born.

We're having a few teething problems with the comments adding part - and what's a blog without comments?! So, we're looking at starting new blog off-site. Watch this space and we'll let you know where to find us when it's ready!

In the meantime, you can still fill out feedback for us, go to our Facebook page, ask a question online or just email or call us to tell us what you think! We're really keen to hear your ideas so please do! If you want, we can even post them here so others can comment.
